What do you do on a daily basis?:
I call people up in America and ask how they felt their service went. I code the answers to the questions, I read the answer and put a number next to it.

What was your best day at work?:
When the system crashed and I got paid to sit around and not do anything.

What was your worst day at work?:
I am not on a contract so they can cancel my booking if they want. Sometimes I don’t get paid much.

Are there any perks to your job?:
They are flexible so if I can’t be bothered to work then I just don’t go in.

What don’t you like about your job?:
As I am not on a contract I don’t have many rights, like using the front door! On certain desks I’m not allowed to have drinks on which is pretty crap especially if you are thirsty. I also have to ruin people’s day by calling them up. People are sometimes really rude to me.

An agency put me forward for the role.
Do you need a qualification to do your job?
A relevant degree is preferred, but being able to demonstrate good understanding of design and development concepts with a good portfolio is more essential.
What do you do on a daily basis?
Working with provided briefs to produce a variety of different web/print/interactive promotions. This includes; flash banners, CD covers, CD wallets, mini-games, mailers, landing pages, promotional pages, animations and flyers.

What was your best day at work?
I had to produce a CD wallet, CD cover, letterhead and launcher software for a campaign revolving around Tomb Raider. The marketing team were so impressed with the result that they showed it to a director who personally complimented me saying it was one of the best CD sets he’d ever seen.

What was your worst day at work?
Haven’t really had one yet

Are there any perks to your job?
Working with a very a talented team of creatives is always a perk. I’ve learned a lot and made some good friends. Because it’s a creative department, it’s very laid back and I always have a laugh.

What do you like about your job?
The sheer variety of tasks I have to do means that I’m never doing the same thing over and over again. We also have a foosball table in the office, which is of course… a perk.

What don’t you like about your job?
The sheer volume of work can be overwhelming sometimes, so I often find myself sacrificing quality for quantity.
